If only The Guardian could have more people like Phil Beadle writing for it, and fewer people like Julie Bindel.

Thank you for the link.
I am continually astounded at mainstream papers addressing transgender awareness in the UK versus the US, where it doesn’t seem that folks in the mainstream press are willing to do editorials at all, although they’ll talk about the latest melodramatic, easily dismissed issue movie where the transgendered main character is played by someone who isn’t . . . or do I have the wrong impression from not reading enough news?
Well you won’t find much in USA Today, but regional newspapers have done some very good stuff. Check out the Nashua Telegraph in particular. Coverage in Bay Area newspapers is often quite good, especially after they got a good kicking over their initial coverage of the Gwen Araujo murder. OTOH, other newspapers are extremely bad.
Glad the Bay Area papers at least have their act together, but I’m surprised at Nashua Telegraph. Will investigate. Definitely not at the level of The Guardian, but San Fran Chronicle is something . . . Great, many thanks!
