The WSFS Tweetwatch #worldcon #hugo

Want to know what people are saying about #worldcon and #hugo on Twitter right now? I have a page for you. It contains a widget I made on Tweetizen. It isn’t hard. In my case the CSS of the heading is screwed up a bit because I’m trying to fit it into a narrower space than it was designed for and I don’t have the settings quite right, but other than that it appears to work fine. You could create one and put it in any convention web site.

  1. Or you can just ask me, and I’ll provide you with the php that I use on http://fud.sleepingcat.com. If you go there and look at my sidebar, you’ll see that any tweet tagged with #catfud shows up there; it shows the last 5 that were flagged, and links to the rest.

I wrote the code for something else a week ago, and just happened to figure out how to put it on a wordpress blog sidebar this morning, as it happens 🙂 It’ll take about 4 steps to make it a general tool for anywhere with php, it so you’ll only need to change one line (since i wrote it, and knew what needed to be changed, I hadn’t bothered); let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll add that rewrite. It’s just cut and paste to install.
