I’m no good at writing obituaries. All I can say is that Mr. Gerber brightened up much of my young life. Here are Joe Gordon and Neil Gaiman who do a much better job.

A mutual friend, Mary Skrenes introduced me to Steve Gerber. We worked over the phone for about six weeks before he signed on with Stan Lee’s new on-line project.
I really enjoyed talking to him. We were always comparing our experiences in Las Vegas. I knew he was sick, but never thought of him dying.
I loved Howard the Duck and I’m grateful for all the wonderful stories he’s left behind.
