Over at the SFWA LiveJournal the ongoing unpleasantness surrounding the current elections has finally resulted in the moderators losing patience with one persistent troll and banning him/her. However, we should not lose hope. No matter how badly SFWA members (or possibly non-members who take an interest in SFWA affairs) behave, they clearly have a very long way to go before they reach the depths plumbed by one romance writer.
