I’ve got a slightly earlier UK version of the same voucher and have been driven to vein-popping frustration while trying to use it.
It looks like a great idea but the problem is that 20% off just about anything worthwhile will, if you are lucky, bring it close to the price on Amazon.
The last time I tried to cash mine in, I attempted to buy Mark Gattiss’s new Lucifer Box book “The Devil In Amber” but was told I could only get 20% off the £15 RRP, thereby bringing the book down to the £12 it was currently being offered for in the shop. Amazon are selling it for £7.50
My voucher runs out on 30th Nov, If I use mine at all, it will probably be on a £5.99 paperback
It is of even less use in California, I’m afraid. Not being valid at all.
well have you tried ebay? In particular an ebay store called Murder and Mayhem Books. They have great new and secondhand crime books that are really fantastic value. I’ve bought a few and they’re terrific to deal with and the books looked like they’d hardly been read!.
