Hot off the Fannish Inquisition, here is the latest state of bidding for future Worldcons and SMOFcons.

Worldcon

2008 – Denver (elected)
2009 – Montreal (elected)
2010 – Melbourne Australia, XERPS (somewhere in another galaxy), Peggy Rae’s House.
2011 – Seattle
2012 – Chicago
2013 – Texas (city yet to be decided)
2014 – no one as yet
2015 – San Diego

Sometime soon – Vince muttered about somewhere in Europe and lots of people threw money at him. Fortunately most of it was in US dollars which Vince dismissed as worthless. Janice Gelb had cunningly come supplied with a 20 Euro note.

Sometime maybe – Finland (see previous post)

SMOFcon

2008 – Columbus beats Boulder, 61 votes to 59
2009 – Austin
2010 – San Jose, Pittsburg
2011 – Maui
