It is past time that I should have mentioned some new podcasts up at Christine Burns’ Just Plain Sense site. Christine tackles a range of equality and diversity issues, and her latest episode is an interview with Karen Machin, a disability rights campaigner. As Christine says, the idea that hate crimes are carried out against people because they are disabled or have a mental illness is particularly hard to understand, yet it is by no means uncommon.
