Every so often I see one of these internet quiz meme things that might be vaguely amusing and go take a look. As you can imagine, a quiz called “What Big Cat Are You?” caught my attention. Here is question 2 in the quiz:
On your walk you see a stray dog. What do you do?
There were 6 possible answers, mostly involving being nice to the e/n/e/m/y canine. Not one of them was “eat him”.
I mean really, can you imagine a tiger encountering a dog in the woods and deciding to pet him, or feed him?

Jaguar:
“A dog? The *other* white meat!”
Ah, well, it’s a bit odd, but I think the quiz actually expects you to answer the questions following the premise that you are human. Based on how you would behave as a human, it then tells you what kind of cat you would be. (What kind of cat gazes upwards at the sky from a supine position? Back scratching, yes. Sky gazing, not so much.) The image of a cat improvising a leash for a dog is quite amusing, however.
Yes, “eat it” was my immediate reaction.
Although more realistically, “chase it, catch it, and bounce it around” should be an option.
Yes, yes, all of those! Nice doggie, play with me? Just hold your nose there while I swat it.
I’m told, after the Rainbow Gathering, when the staunch clean-up crew is the only ones left, and there are always some abandoned dogs, one of the traditions is a dinner of dog tacos.
