You’ll note that my sidebar has sprouted a little graphic supporting the semiprozine category in the Hugos. Feel free to copy it and add it to your own site. If you do, please link it to the Save the Semiprozine web site (otherwise the “what is this?” doesn’t make any sense).

I have the button listed (with html code) under Promotional Materials on the website:
http://savesemiprozine.org/promotional/
I’ll be adding promotional buttons and ads from individual semiprozines there as well. Should make a nice one-stop shop for people who want to support semiprozines through their websites.
Done. I read more fiction in semiprozines these days than I do in the professional magazines, and I’m consistently impressed by both the quality and the diversity of content. (Plus the stories are often more innovative/challenging than what you find in professional magazines). It would be a pity to see as effective an incentive/promotional tool as the Hugo disassociated from the field. I’m still trying to work out if I’ll be able to go to Montreal this summer, but if I do I’ll make a point of attending the meeting & voting.
