Having seen too many lifestyle articles which assume that women are the ones who need flexibility at work, I’m not surprised.
In fact, precisely because I see so many families, even those who meant to do things differently ending with the B model I might never have a kid, either biological or adopted, so I don’t have to deal with that, for as much as I think my partner might want to build a C family, he comes from a B family as far as I’ve seen, and so did I. And I wonder if that is as much what is behind declining birth rates in the industrialized world as increased access to contraception for many women (not all of course, if you look at countries which politicize reproductive health care and do not make adequate public health provision).
