If only she did a course on “doing without sleep” or “saying no to volunteering” or some of the other things I really need.
I do talk about volunteering in the final class of the F&SF one! I remind them that the F&SF world depends on volunteer work but if you’re writing, you can say no. Or at least pick one or two causes rather than scattering yourself wildly about.
